Amber Day
School Counselor
Bio
Hello! My name is Amber Day. I am currently serving as the 11th and 12th grade counselor at Marbury High School.
This is my 15th year in education and 4th school year at MHS. Until 2020, I taught high school English here in Autauga County. Since then, I have transitioned from being inside a classroom to the role of school counselor. The child of an Army soldier, I grew up all over the South but claim Smiths Station, AL as my hometown. My husband and I both attended high school there. We have two children, Luke (11) and Ellie Kate (7), and two furry children: Molly Sue and Duke-Caboom. We attend First Baptist Church in Prattville where my husband and I serve as Sunday School leaders. In our spare time, we enjoy traveling to new locations and exploring!
I am so excited to be a part of the Bulldog family!
