Bio

Hello! My name is Carolyn Lee Carpenter and I am a Special Education Resource Teacher! I grew up in Prattville and went to high school at Autauga Academy. I completed my undergraduate program at Jacksonville State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2017. I graduated from Grand Canyon University where I received my Master of Education in Special Education in 2020. Even though I am new to the Special Education field I am not new to teaching. I taught 6-12th grade science from 2018-2020 at Autaugaville School. I then completed my student teaching at Marbury High School in the resource setting; now I’m back!

I love living in Autauga County and serving its people as a teacher. I have been married to my husband, Austin Carpenter, for two years. He is also an educator in Autauga County and a baseball coach. I am dedicated to this town and the people in it. I believe in your student and their ability to be successful here at Marbury High School. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me via email or by calling the school. Thank you for all you do as parent/ guardian, I can see your hard work and dedication in your child. Go Bulldogs!
